How to Use the Snap Feature in Windows 7

Preparation

1. Open Two Applications you would like to Work With and Maximize Both Their Windows.
2. Click the Title Bar of One of the Windows.
3. Hold Down Your Left Mouse Button and Drag the Window to the Left Side of the Screen.
4. When the Window Reaches That Location, You will see a Rectangular Outline.
5. Release the Mouse Button. Windows 7 Causes the Window to Fit Inside the Outline.
6. Move to the Other Window, Click Its Title Bar and Drag That Window to the Screen's Right Side. An Outline Will Appear There as Well.
7. Release the Mouse Button.
8. The Window Moves into the Outline. When you are done, Your Two Application Windows Will Appear Side by Side.
9. Work on Them as Needed.
