How to Set Up Microphone on Windows 10 PC

Preparation

1. Ensure That, Your Microphone is Properly Connected to Your Computer.
2. Now, Click on the Start Button.
3. Go to “Settings”.
4. Click on “System” Icon.
5. In the Left Side Bar, Click on “Sound” Tab.
6. Under “Input” Section, Click on the Drop Down Menu Below “Choose Your Input Device”.
7. Select the Desired Audio Input Device From the List.
8. To Test Your Microphone, Click on the "Device Properties" Link Below the Dropdown Menu.
9. In the Microphone Properties Window, Click on the "Additional Device Properties" Link.

11. In the “General” Tab, You Can Change the Name of the Microphone and its Icon.
12. To Adjust the Microphone Volume, Go to the "Levels" Tab.

15. Now, To Test Your Microphone, Click on “Start Test” Button and Start Speaking Into It.
