Step by Step Procedure
Preparation
- Open Your Favorite Browser.
- Go to addons.videolan.org
- In the Search Box, Type “VLSub” and Hit Search.
- Click on the “Download” Button.
- Wait for the Download to Complete.
- Once the Download is Complete, Click on the Arrow Next to File and Select “Show in Folder”.
- Copy the File and Paste it in the Following Location.
- Windows: %ProgramFiles%\VideoLAN\VLC\lua\extensions\ Linux: /usr/lib/vlc/lua/extensions/ Mac OS X: /Applications/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS/share/lua/extensions/
- Now, Open VLC Media Player on Your PC.
- Import Your Favorite Movie or TV Show.
- In the Top Menu Bar, Click on “View” Option.
- Click on “VLSub” From the Drop Down Menu.
- A Dialogue Box Pops Up.
- Select Your “Preferred Language”.
- Now, Enter the Name of the Movie or TV Show.
- You Can Also Enter “Season” and “Episode” Number for a More Precise Search.
- Click the "Search by hash" or "Search by name" Option to Search.
- Select the Suitable and Matched Subtitle File.
- Click the "Download Section" Button to Download Subtitles for VLC.
- The Subtitle File Will Be Downloaded to the Default Location of the Video and Added to Your Currently Playing Video Automatically!
- Click “Close” to Close the Dialog Box.
- As You Can See, Subtitle Has Been Added to Our Video.
