How to Add a Translation to Your Channel Name and Description on Youtube

Preparation

1. Open Your Favourite Browser.
2. Go to Youtube.com
3. Click on the “Sign in” Button at the Top Right Corner of the Page.
4. Select the Google Account You Want to Use.
5. If You are Signing in For the First Time, You May be asked to Enter Your Email Address.
6. Enter Your Password and Click “Next”.
7. You are logged into Your Youtube Account.
8. Click on the “Profile Picture” at the Top Right Corner of the Page.
9. Go to “Youtube Studio”.
10. In the Left Sidebar, Click on “Customization”.
11. Go to “Basic Info” Tab.
12. Under the “Channel Name and Description” Section, Click on “Add Language”.
13. In the Left Column You Can Find Your Channel Name and Description in Original Language.
14. Select the Original Language. In Our Case it is English.
15. In the Right Column You Have to Add Translated Version of the Same.
16. Select the “Language” You Want to Add.
17. You Can Use the Google Translator to Translate the Text to Your Favourite Language.
18. Copy and Paste the Translated Text in the Respective Fields.
19. Click “Done”.
20. Translation for the Channel Name and Description Has Been Added.
21. Similarly You Can Add Other Languages.
22. Now, Click on Your Profile Picture and Go to “Your Channel”.
23. Click on the “About” Tab.
24. Copy the Channel URL.
25. Now, Open Google Chrome Browser in Incognito Mode.
26. Go to Youtube.com and Sign in to Your Account.
27. Click on Your Profile Picture and Choose Language From the Drop Down Menu.
28. Select the Language Which You Have Added for Translation.
29. Now, Open a New Tab and Paste Your Channel URL.
30. As You Can See, Translated Version of the Channel Name and Descriptions Can be Seen.
31. If You Select Any Other Language Other than Added Translated Language, It Won’t Show Up.
32. Only the Original Description is Shown to the Users.
